• Summary: n8n is a workflow automation tool available both as a hosted service (n8n Cloud) and self-hosted. Its public API keys are JWTs passed through the X-N8N-API-KEY header to authenticate against the n8n REST API. This detector matches the API key, either on its own or together with the hostname of the n8n instance, which allows the key's validity to be checked.

Revoke the secret

n8n API keys are managed from the n8n instance UI, under Settings > n8n API. Delete the corresponding API key there to revoke it immediately.
