The Incidents panel of your Analytics section illustrates the number of secret incidents your workspace was exposed to, and whether they were detected in real-time or during a historical scan.
The default time range is
Last month. You can change the time range in the top right-hand corner of the page. For stat metrics, GitGuardian compares the metric with the previous period (computed to have the same number of days).
Secret incidents: total number of secret incidents over the period.
Evolution over time (Graph): distribution of secret incidents over time. A secret incident can contain multiple occurrences. In such cases, we use the date of the first detected occurrence for the entire incident.
Top 5 secrets detectors (Bar gauge): top 5 detectors according to their respective number of secret incidents during the given period. If you click on the detector name, you will be redirected to the secret incidents table filtered by the relevant detector and the selected time range.
Note that in the Analytics section, we only consider secret incidents, not policy break incidents.
