Company public perimeter

The company perimeter defines the scope we are monitoring for your company. It encapsulates the following categories:

Perimeter definition

The developers and GitHub organizations above are not listed one by one. GitGuardian derives them from a small set of inputs, called your perimeter definition:

  • your company names, matched against the company and bio fields of GitHub profiles;
  • your email domains, matched against the email addresses developers commit with;
  • the GitHub organizations owned by your company.

Your perimeter definition is visible in Settings > Public monitoring > Perimeter. It is read-only: contact our support team to add or remove a company name, a domain or an organization.

Secret graspers work differently. They do not resolve into a list of developers or sources, so they are both part of the definition and monitored in their own right.
