AmneziaWG Private Key
Description
General
- Documentation: https://docs.amnezia.org/documentation/amnezia-wg
- Summary: AmneziaWG is a fork of the WireGuard VPN protocol developed by Amnezia, which adds junk packets and
header obfuscation (the
Jc,Jmin,Jmax,S1,S2andH1-H4parameters) to resist deep packet inspection. An AmneziaWG interface private key lets anyone impersonate the client or server peer it belongs to and connect to the VPN.
Revoke the secret
A private key cannot be revoked, it must be rotated. Generate a new key pair with
awg genkey | tee privatekey | awg pubkey, replace the PrivateKey of the leaked interface,
then replace the matching PublicKey in the [Peer] section of every peer (or re-issue the
client configuration from the Amnezia application) and remove the old public key from the server.
