Retell API keys are bearer credentials used to authenticate requests to REST API endpoints and SDK integrations and to secure webhook communication. Workspaces can issue multiple API keys that share the same permission level, and one key can be designated for webhook signing and verification.

Revoke the secret

Revocation is performed in the Retell Dashboard under System Settings > API Keys. Select the target key, choose the delete (trash) action, and confirm the deletion. For credential rotation after compromise, delete the affected key and create a new one. The designated webhook API key cannot be deleted.
