Default configuration

The commands ggshield hmsl do not need any configuration to run. You will operate as an anonymous user and you will be limited to 100 secrets analysed per day.

GitGuardian authentication

Using ggshield with a valid GitGuardian token will allow you to get more quota. See how to setup a GitGuardian token with ggshield configuration.

GGShield also defines the GITGUARDIAN_SAAS_API_KEY environment variable allowing you to use a different API tokens for ggshield secret and ggshield hmsl.
